부산 벡스코(Bexco)에서 개최되는 2021년 한국의류산업학회 국제학술대회에 여러분을 초대합니다.
이번 2021년 국제학술대회는 ‘COVID-19 이후 패션산업정책의 방향’ 이라는 주제로 2021년 10월 30일(토)에 부산 벡스코(Bexco)에서 On/Off Line 동시 개최됩니다.
금번 국제학술대회에서는 인류역사상 가장 힘든 시기라고 할 수 있는 세계적 팬데믹인 COVID-19가 가져온 패션산업의 변화와 그 이후를 준비하기 위한 기관, 교육계와 산업체의 정책 사례를 통해 섬유패션산업의 미래에 대한 다양한 시각에서의 변화 방향성을 알아보고자 합니다.
기조강연 1은 University of Arizona의 Soo-Hyun Kim교수님과 Matt Arnold 미국 Sephora 부사장(University of Maryland, Adjunct Professor)께서 ‘COVID-19 이후의 공급체인 관리’를 주제로 세포라 사례를 중심으로 어떤 변화가 있었는지를 발표해 주시고, 기조강연 2는 ‘유럽 럭셔리 패션브랜드의 마케팅정책 변화’를 주제로 프랑스 파리에 본사가 있는 다국적 럭셔리 패션 그룹인 Kering Group의 ‘Brioni’ 시니어 머천다이징 매니저 Hee-Seon Yun님의 발표가 있습니다.
특별포럼은 ‘코로나19 이후의 일본 패션트랜드 및 일본 패션소비 트랜드 및 교육과정의 변화’를 주제로 일본 쿄토 University of Fukuchiyama의 최동은 교수님과 ‘COVID-19 이후 인도네시아 패션 산업 트렌드’에 대하여 인도네시아 Bandung Institute of Technology의 Kahfiati Kahdar교수님의 강연이 준비되어 있습니다. 오후에 진행되는 특별세션은 두 개의 부분으로 섬유패션산업관련 4개 기관의 연구 및 기업지원정책 방향성에 대한 발표와 4D 프린팅 메타구조체 기반의 스마트의류와 관련 연구발표가 진행됩니다. 신진연구자 발표에서는 COVID-19 이후를 준비하는 다양한 분야의 새로운 시각의 연구가 발표될 예정입니다.
우리 학회는 패션 분야의 작품 전시를 꾸준히 하고 있습니다. 이번에도 제 25회 국제 교수 의상 초대전, 제10회 국제 디지털 패션 콘테스트 작품전, 제8회 SFTI 디지털 패션 작품 초대전과 패션아트워크디자인 콘테스트 2021 전시가 진행됩니다.
국내외 회원님들의 적극적인 참여로 구두발표와 포스터 발표를 통해 최신 연구논문 103편이 소개될 예정입니다.
COVID-19로 인한 많은 어려움이 있는 시기로 비대면을 중심으로 On-Off 라인이 혼합되어 진행되는 국제학술대회임을 양해 부탁드립니다. 끝으로 이번 학술대회 준비를 위해 노력해 주신 조직위원 여러분과 학회 사무국에 감사의 말씀을 전합니다.

Greetings to SFTI members,
We invite you to the 2021 SFTI International Conference to be held in Busan BEXCO. The upcoming 2021 International Conference is held through on/off lines in October 30th(Sat.) in BEXCO, focusing on the topic ‘Direction for Strategic Policy of the Fashion Industry after COVID-19'.
In this conference, we would gain insights on diverse perspectives of change directions toward the future of the textile and fashion industry in the post COVID-19 era of global pan- demic, the most severe time in human history, through diverse cases brought from in- stitutions, academia, and industry.
In the Keynote Speech 1, Prof. Soo-Hyun Kim of University of Arizona and Mr. Matt Arnold, Vice President of Sephora will provide a presentation about a Sephora case under a specific topic ‘Con-sumer Sentiment and Behavior during the COVID-19 Crisis in US'
Keynote Speech 2 will be led by Ms. Hee-Seon Yun, Senior Merchandising Manager of Brioni brand of the Keringś. A which is a multinational luxury company, who will present ‘European Luxury Houses, The Shape of the Post-Pandemic'
In the Special Forum, lectures of ‘Direction of Change in Fashion Education Curriculum and Fashion Consumption Trends of Japanese’ (Prof. Dong-Eun Choi, University of Fukuciyama) and ‘Indonesia Fashion After COVID’ (Prof. Kahfiati Kahdar, Bandung Institute of Technology) will be provided. Special session in the afternoon is composed of research and corporation support policies of four institutions in the textile and fashion field in addition to presentations of smart clothing research based on 4D printing metastructure. In the junior re- searcher forum, a wide range of research will be presented in specific fields preparing for the post COVID-19 era.
SFTI has consistently held fashion exhibitions. In this time, the 25th International Invited Fashion Exhibition, the 10th International Digital Fashion Contest Exhibition, the 8th SFTI Digital Invited Fashion Exhibition, and Fashion Artwork Design Contest 2021 Exhibition will be held.
In this conference, a total of 103 research papers through oral or poster presentations will be introduced based on active participations of SFTI members. We ask for your under- standings on difficulties caused by the on-offline hybrid international conference prioritizing on-line communications due to COVID-19. At last, we would like to express our deep appre- ciation on the conference organization committee members and the SFTI administration.
